inspired and thoroughly informed
again... ...as your were when you first fell in love with horses and wanted to know everything about them.
Get of the merry-go-round and make time to get to know yourself. You’re worth it. It will save you a lot of heart ache and frustration and a lot of misunderstandings with your horse. So for his sake too- find out who you really are.
Your self-concept will also determine how your horse perceives and responds to you. Setting and achieving realistic riding goals will boost your self-esteem substantially. Don't believe me? Just think about the last time you struggled to master a new riding skill- like sitting trot, or shoulder-in, or getting your horse to stand still so you can get on. When you finally succeeded, didn't it feel fantastic? You take it for granted now, but can you still remember how elated you felt the first time you got it right?

The people and circumstances around me do not MAKE me what I am, they REVEAL who I am. Dr Laura Schlessinger
Setting realistic goals
working toward them and finally achieving them are superb learning experiences......and absolutely wonderful confidence enhancers. We feel good about ourselves and our horses when we meet our goals, in full and on time. Our horses pick up on our sense of well-being, and respond by offering cooperation and trust. Which in turn makes it easier for us to reach our goals the next time round, and so the effect soon snow-balls, to the delight of both ourselves and our horses. Your chances of success in any undertaking can always be measured by your belief in yourself. - Robert Collier If you have been injured in a horse-related accident, the Ride with Supreme Self-confidence e-book will put you back in the saddle in no time.
