Much more often than I would like to, I meet horse people who have lost their riding confidence. They still love horses, but do not get as much enjoyment from riding as they did in the past.

This could be due to all sorts of equestrian accidents, resulting in all sorts of horse riding injuries, both mentally and physically.

One would think that it would be mostly older people, or riders with a lot of experience who used to do a lot of jumping and fell of once too many times. And yes, I meet a lot of people like that. But I also see young riders, who even though they love riding and jumping and competing, often feel scared when they ride in to the arena, or come up to a jump or have to load a difficult horse onto a trailer.

They often come to me for confidence coaching and helping them is intensely satisfying.

Most frustratingly, my horses and I can only help a very small number of people in person. To reach more riders, I set up this website and started offering e-coaching online/ by e-mail. The response was overwhelming. Now, 6 months after I first launched this services, I can finally come up for air, and review what I have learnt.

I discovered that e-coaching can be as effective as in-person coaching.
